For April’s Calendar event, there was an open call inviting the participation of the public. As a way of celebrating this time of year, when nature everywhere is blossoming, people were asked to perform their own gesture of opening – arms wide, torso to the sky – in a site of their choosing and to take a picture. Now all of these individual actions that were created in numerous parts of the world, have found a collective home on the web site. As you will see, there were also some alternative responses that were inspired by the call.
