In March of 2009, Elly arrived in Montreal from Belgium to live for 6 months. During this time, she worked closely with Tedi on the considerable task of finding locations for Calendar. This undertaking presented a unique opportunity of discovering the city, offering an unusual blend of situations and encounters. This essay moves between an intimate journal, reflections on the collaboration and her observations of Montreal during her stay.
